Scheherazade

Scheherazade is the famed storyteller of “The One Thousand and One Nights”, married with the Sultan of ancient Persia.The monarch Shahriyar on discovering that his first wife was unfaithful to him, resolved to marry a new virgin every day and to have her killed the next morning before she could dishonor him. Scheherazade was intelligent beautiful and well-read young woman, captivated her husband with stories that usually went on late night, always leaving the Sultan curious to discovery what would happen next day. The choreographer re-created his own way to tell the same story leading to a new ending.
